Edge of roadway collapsed in SL23JN
Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 15:23, Sunday 13 June 2021
Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later
For over a year large numbers of 20 ton grab lorries have used this road every day as a rat run, carrying soil towards Slough and returning empty. Many cut the corner outsidemy house, going over the edge of the tarmac onto the grass verge. The result is a trench 30 cm wide, 15cm deep and 5m long. Similar damage is apparent at many places along Parish Lane and Colham Green Lane together with large potholes in several places. The road is too narrow for these lorries to pass each other without going off the edges.
