The paint on the zebra crossing is now very worn and doesn’t stand out. The sun tend to shine into drivers’ eyes as they drive southerly and presumably, they often can’t see the Belisha beacon light. There have been many pedestrians near misses due to this, especially if traffic stops on one side and pedestrians think it is safe to start crossing right over it. I feel it would help safety to get this crossing repainted as soon as possible with a more traffic resistant paint.
