There are a number of very deep holes in the road adjacent to the parking spaces at the side of the village pond.

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2793446.
There are several areas adjacent to the pavement where there are very deep potholes which offer several hazards to pedestrians. There is a large drop down into the holes from the edge of the pavement - as much as 100 to 150mm which is very dangerous for pedestrians that haven't noticed the drop or have visual impairments. When loading my grandson's buggy into the boot I have twice ended up stepping into the holes as they have been hidden by water and getting a wet foot. I have also witnessed people with sticks or walkers having to be helped over the holes.
Additionally this morning my rear passenger side wheel got stuck in one on the deep potholes and because a car in front had parked too close, I had very little room to manoeuvre the car out of the space - the fact that the wheel got so far down the pothole meant that considerable engine force was needed to get the wheel out of the hole again - difficult when there was little space at the front of the car!
These potential ankle twisting, or worse, impediments to safely crossing the road have been in existence for a long time and really do need attention before someone injures themselves badly trying to cross the road or accessing their vehicle. As I say in wet weather the depth of the holes is entirely unknown and not at all obvious that such a hazard exists.
If this is a Parish Council rather than Bucks Council responsibility - I never know which! - Please ensure that you pass the report on directly since this is an accident waiting to happen.
Thank you.
