Outside 80 Oxford Road
Reported via mobile in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 12:48, Sat 19 June 2021
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2803595.
I first reported a problem with blocked drains in the pavement all along Oxford Road in 2019. In October 2020 I sent photos of the flooding outside my house after a particularly bad storm. The council provided me with sandbags and I was assured work would be done. As well as blocked drains the pavement dips and consequently the rain washing down the hill settles in the dip directly next to my door. Yesterday the pavement was impassable and today you can see from the photo the tidemark of where the water settled in relation to my air bricks. I now consider this to be of utmost importance. I do not want to be flooded !! PLEASE would you get someone to contact me as a matter of urgency so that I can show them the problem. This has been going on for too long now and with increasing amounts of severe rainfall I fear for my house ! Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you very soon. My phone number is 07834213759 and my email is gaynortruss@btinternet.com.
