Mayfly, 37, Soulbury Road,
Reported via desktop in the Ditch issue category anonymously at 18:42, Tue 22 June 2021
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2811351.
Continued flooding of road in both directions adjacent to the entrance to my drive since last reported in 2020 due to insufficient drainage grip maintenance. With the additional rainfall on Friday 18 June, the run off washed out a substantial area of my drive, which I have just spent a substantial sum on renewing. From the photos, taken later in the day, you can see that the gigaclear works have not adversely affected the existing grips. It appears that some token effort was made during the day to improve the grips (unfortunately we were out during the day and unable to carry out any emergency works) but what has been done was/is clearly inadequate.
