New Street entrance to the Maltings
Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 17:31, Tuesday 29 June 2021
Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later
So a collection of holes, one was repaired and you can see part of the square repair has fallen away. But worse and the reason for this request is I removed a chunk of the road that was sat on the surface for safeties sake. I then noticed a deep grove from where it had come from that would be in line with where one would position yourself if cycling along New Street towards Stockleys Lane. At night if your wheel went down this it would cause a nasty fall. Really the whole area needs a full repair as patching (because of hole size rules) leaves smaller holes that remain to fill with water running down the Maltings and then in the winter this same water freezes expands and the problems start again. It gets a lot of traffic this small stretch of area and serves approaching 100 houses. As cars are parked on the one side it takes traffic going in and out. As such It would be nice if it could be fixed - thanks

Hi, just wanted to say thank you, your chaps arrived the next day and did a wonderful job on the bigger area of holes so thank you! However about 6 feet on from where they repaired the previous patching and hole was the deep hole that I feel is a hazard to cyclists etc. and it was that pot hold that had ejected the rock as per original photo. Annoyingly I wasn't at home to point this out to the chaps working on the repair as it would now mean another visit (although perhaps they could do it when they remove the warning surface dressing signs?). But again great job on what you have done and so sorry to be writing again. Thanks
