Reported via desktop in the Traffic lights problem at temporary roadworks category anonymously at 12:35, Thu 8 July 2021
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later
The roadworks are creating severe traffic on the main road between Bicester and Aylesbury! It's already several times that it causes 40+ minute delays for my journey towards Aylesbury, due to heavy queues forming before the Creighton Road roundabout - 1.4 miles away! This is occuring every weekday at peak times (4pm) but even on Sunday evenings, with no works being carried out.

Update: The issue is with the traffic lights for the roadworks as they are not synced to the traffic flow- queues are 1.5 miles long in one direction and maximum 50-100 metres in the other.
