I previously raised this as an issue but I note with some dismay that you have now closed the work item.

[TfB - Mixed pedestrian pavement and cycle path on White Lion Road - Ref 46076409

"Please can you trim back the hedges (and grass undergrowth) on the mixed pedestrian pavement and cycle path on the A404 White Lion Road? It has got very overgrown and means pedestrians and cyclists do not have enough room to easily pass. Specifically the length between the BP garage and the Chiltern Heights Estate. Thanks in advance."]

I walked past the aforementioned hedge this yet this morning and yesterday morning and I’ve noticed that the weeds at pavement level have only been partially cut back. However they look like a child might have done it with a stick rather than an adult with a hedge trimmer. Additionally, the cut weeds have still been left so the obstruction still exists.

Maybe more importantly, the overhanging hedge, which is more of the problem, has not been touched and still obstructs almost half of the pavement/cycle lane.

I do consider this to be reasonably dangerous, as at morning rush-hour (even for pedestrians and cyclists, between 8-9am) there have been many occasions where a cyclist has had to swerve either myself or another pedestrian or mother with pram.
