This has been complained about already, and as a result the cross bracing that blocked the way under the scaffolding has been removed. However it is still impossible for prams and disability scooters to get past, and as can be seen from the photos, the kerb is too high to divert around. This was market day, so safer due to the road closure, but normally where the two red cars are is a loading bay, with a succession of delivery trucks in it. A footway needs to be barriered off so that people with prams or scooters can use the roadway safely.
