As winter is fast approaching and the defects, highlighted in this report and to the council representative who inspected the close including the Health and Safety breaches being clearly identified, remain, is anybody able to assist in providing a date for the commencement of the rectification works? As previously highlighted there are 11 pensioners residing in this close, the eldest of whom is approaching their 91st birthday. If any of the residents but particularly among the pensioners suffer an accident whilst walking on a footpath in this close the consequences could be life changing. This report was last updated by the council nearly 7 weeks ago We are able to trace the history of reporting these defects back to early 2000 but of course this must be balanced by the that it took nearly 35 years to have the broken metal gully cover, outside my home, replaced by one which now sits proud of the road causing large puddles whenever it rains. Any update would be useful but a commencement date would make the residents ecstatic. Thank you and I await a reply
