Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later
In the last quarter of 2019 there were major gas works outside our house. During the work the contractors left their apparatus such as barriers and bags of cement on the verge outside our house for weeks. This has left concrete patches in the grass and dead patch's and it is generally a big mess compared to the rest of the verge. We asked the contractors about this and they said don't worry as they are required to over soil and top seed after work. Due to COVID they stopped part way through and they did none of this. I am very annoyed by this I used to mow the verge myself on a weekly basis to keep the street looking nice. Now I am frustrated we have been left with a messy verge which will need raking to get the concrete out and reseeding before if comes back to a good state. I don't think I should be doing this but instead the gas works contractors should be asked to do it by yourselves. Kind regards, Ben and Julie Stephens, 192a Wendover Road.
