30 Ledborough Lane

Reported via desktop in the Kerb damage / issue category anonymously at 09:46, Monday 9 August 2021

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

The driveway Kerb has been left 'proud' after road resurfacing works.

This is causing damage to our car tyres and also makes it very dangerous when cycling into our driveway.

The Council says it has inspected (which I very much doubt), and subsequently 'closed' the first report of this issue.

However, this issue is still very much there and from a safety perspective when we cycle in I will state here and now that should anyone fall off due to the high and dangerous kerb level we will hold the Council liable.

In addition, any damage to our car wheels/tyres will also be the liability of the Council.

This is the second report. The first was closed with no communication to that effect.

Worse case, we will have to seek to get this resolved at our expense due to the dangerous and likely damage incurring nature of the problem since the resurfacing works, necessitating the need to seek reimbursement from the Council.

Regards, Alan
