Drain covers in damaged and sunken condition causing noise and property damage as traffic crosses the covers
Reported via desktop in the Road surface category anonymously at 15:46, Wed 25 August 2021
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later
This problem has been ongoing for many months. The noise is unbearable and the damage to property includes cracking walls and slipping roof tiles. The cover causing the main vibration and damaged has been patched many times but is effective only for a week or two each time .A week or so ago the less troublesome drain was repaired, but this is already sinking and causing more trouble than before it was "repaired". Both drains need to be properly repaired as recurrent patching is ineffective and ultimately very expensive
