Chinnor Road, on the double bend on the hill near to Loxborough Hill Cottages.

Reported via desktop in the Road surface category anonymously at 10:50, Wednesday 1 September 2021

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

The road surface has numerous potholes again, following what must have ben a temporary repair recently. This repair was completely ineffective as the road surface is now riddled with potholes where the bitumen that was used to fill the holes has come away after only a couple of months. This is the third or fourth time a quick and cheap repair has been done on this section of Chinnor Road in the last few years. These repairs fail quickly so most of the time the road surface is unsatisfactory and potentially damaging to car tyres and suspension. Why don't you just resurface a 500m section of this road properly once and for all so that it is fit for purpose, and stop wasting money doing ineffective temporary repairs? I live on Chinnor Road and drive on this section of road frequently, and am concerned about the effect on my car tyres and suspension as these potholes are impossible to avoid.
