Existing bridge near Portway Farm, Twyford

The approach ramps to the bridge have not been provided with side restraint system (crash barrier) in accordance with The Design Manual for Roads & Bridges Volume 2. Permanent barrier is required to prevent lateral movement down the embankments and the prevention of impact with the ends of the existing bridge parapets.
