Pavement not fit for purpose. The web site doesn't help because it states the troublesome location road does not have a name but see below.
Reported via desktop in the Footpath / pavement problem category anonymously at 10:27, Fri 10 September 2021
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2992057.
The road running through Little Missenden does not have a name but the villagers and local council refer to it as Village Road. This might explain why the pavement is so neglected and the gutters full of weeds and the drains usually blocked. This matter has been reported before and also copied to local District Councillors. It needs a visit to understand the problem. The location in question is the pavement running from where Penfold Lane crosses the village road to Taylors Lane westwards past the church and school onwards to Highmore Cottages. The pavement is unwalkable in places and needs replacing. it is used by school children, attendees to the church and walkers generally. It is unsafe. There are parts of ther pavement where it appears to have been claimed by adjacent property owners forcing pedestrians into the roda and there is no street lighting . This needs fixing before Winter sets in with its dark nights.
