Moreton Lane Bishopstone

Reported via desktop in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 17:33, Monday 13 September 2021

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

Drain has been blocked for 2 years, there is now liquid seeping above a nearby drain cover in the middle of the carriageway. This looks convincingly abnormal for water to be rising out of a solid cover. Between 16-18 Moreton Lane.

  • This report has reached 10 working days and no one has made a visit or inspection? The symptoms are worsening. There has been no rainfall yet the leak is persistent. I have tried reporting this to Thames Water but they are too difficult to reach to help with the situation. It would be good to know just what the problem is and at least have a diagnosis. If this is sewerage we need to know. Pedestrians, including children, and dogs are walking in this every day. Thank you for your attention into this matter!

  • Thames Water has inspected this and suspect that it is a natural spring. If this is the case please can somebody advise if there is a drain and gully that can be fitted to take the water away?
