Junction Outside Holiday Inn

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later
I’ve sat for close to an hour trying to get from Bierton through to Bedgrove this morning due to the traffic jams caused by the manhole cover outside the Holiday Inn on the A41 where temporary traffic lights have been installed and part of the carriageway closed. It’s been like this for 5 days now and rarely is anyone working there. There are reports of awful traffic daily all over social media and yet no post by TFB or BCC giving an update. The temporary solution installed is causing mayhem for all and knocking back right to the other side of Aylesbury. A better temporary measure needs to be installed ASAP until a permanent solution is reached. Have part of the carriageway closed for this length of time with no one working is unacceptable given the impact it is having. A 10-15 minute journey became an hour for the 5th day in a row. That’s pushing people’s patience and understanding too far.
