Temporary lights by wasp filling station

Reported via mobile in the Traffic lights problem at temporary roadworks category anonymously at 08:34, Tuesday 12 October 2021

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

Completely unnecessary traffic lights. Road is 3 lanes wide at this point, cones are only covering 2/3 of one lane. Lights are on when no one is working. People are sitting with a red light and a completely empty lane of traffic. Total waste of time

  • Having been delayed unnecessarily again twice this morning….. these lights are in use when no vehicles or machinery relating to work being done are present. Now some bright spark has moved the cones so that two lanes are now blocked with nothing happening in either lane. This is ridiculous. Please get them moved. Enough people are being inconvenienced on a daily basis with unnecessary traffic lights. Taking 10 days to respond is appalling.

  • Still being delayed with nothing happening. Road cones all over the place, no sign of any vehicles or people or work being done, just 200m of delays. Traffic management…. Complete joke. Maybe see if Gerald Ratner wants to come out of retirement, he would make a better job. Council obviously don’t care that thousands of people are delayed on a daily basis. This is the A40, not a side road or lane.
