A4128 Missenden Road By Entrance to Cherry Tree Farm

Reported via desktop in the Footpath / pavement problem category by Helen Hogan at 14:51, Wednesday 27 October 2021

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

Please see below report from resident who fell into the road due to damaged pavement.

I would like to report the dangerous pavement on the A4128 Missenden Road especially outside the entrance to Cherry Tree Farm. The pavement along this stretch of the road is very narrow, almost impossible to walk hand in hand with a toddler or a dog on a lead. This is extremely difficult when part of the pavement nearest the road is broken away making the pavement very uneven and throwing one off balance. I fell into the road where the pavement is broken and has a drop with the uneven tarmac. I landed on my hands and knees just in front of oncoming traffic. Due to quick reactions of the driver who managed to stop before hitting me, this was extremely upsetting for me and frightening for the driver of the car. Please can you report this to Bucks Council for them to repair this pavement so it, and other parts of the pavement, towards the Spar shop can be used in safety by everyone. I attach photos showing the danger.
