Footpath in front of Long Crendon Library [Boundary Wall] works

Reported via desktop in the Footpath / pavement problem category anonymously at 17:49, Wednesday 27 October 2021

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

There has been a serious trip hazard on the footpath for some time by where these works are taking place. The damage was caused by the roots of the tree now felled/being felled [Oct 2021]. A couple of years ago, I tripped and fell, causing a [hairline] fracture to my hip . I reported my fall but at the time the damage to the footpath surface was not considered by the Council to need repairing. This would seem to be an opportunity for repair to take place now, while works are ongoing. Please ensure the footpath along High Street is repaired once the wall work is completed. It would make local residents a good deal safer, at least at this point. Thank you.
