Temporary bridge on Stoke Road
Reported via mobile in the Road surface category anonymously at 08:13, Fri 29 October 2021
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later
The 'temporary bridge' on Stoke Road bangs and clanks very loudly day and night when vehicles are using it. I have contacted Network Rail who said that they repaired the bridge. Despite this, the bridge continues to keep me awake at night with the continued noise. Network Rail have told me that Buckinghamshire County Council are the owners of the bridge but that they maintain the bridge at the request of Bucks CC. Please send an engineer to ascertain the issues. I have lived on Stoke Road for 31 years and approximately 25 years of those have been blighted by the bridge that should have been replaced many years ago. Kind regards
