Dangerous drain cover Lower Road near Haddenhsm and Stone.

Details: Hello, i emailed Aylesbury council about my issue and they have replied saying i should contact you. In 30th October 2021 my car hit a faulty drain cover at night on Lower Road between Aylesbury and Haddenham on my way to work on Wednesday evening. I travel along this road most days to work mon-friday and the drain cover had lately been knocking when driving over it. It is in a place on a bend on the road that makes it difficult to avoid. My front wheel hit the drain cover first which was poking up and knocked the drain cover then my rear wheel hit the drain making the tyre split and deflate almost straight away as the drain cover was raised. The real wheel is damaged with a big chip broken off the wheel rim damaged and the tyre split from the impact. On Friday morning there were cones and a sign put up around the manhole. I was wondering if its possible what i need to do to claim back the cost of repairing my car please. Kind Regards Mark Robertson
