Very recent road repair already failing

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 10:07, Mon 22 November 2021

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

The road here was dug up quite recently and the works went on for some weeks. Having relaid the surface afterwards it has only been a fortnight before it is falling apart and it is getting worse every day.

  • Workmen arrived to repair this at 0820 on Monday 29/11. When I walked back past at 0900 the repair had already failed and the surface is now even worse than before. Vehicles, especially HGVs, are crashing into the hole and making it bigger.

  • This. This is ridiculous.

There is now a huge sinkhole in the road which a small child could fall down should their parents be negligent enough to let them in the road. It would also cause considerable damage to a vehicle if it drove over it.

A few cones is not enough. They are knocked away from the hole by traffic and leave the hole exposed.

This needs serious attention right now!
