Footpath outside Home Farm, south side of Castle St.

Reported via desktop in the Footpath / pavement problem category anonymously at 17:57, Thu 2 December 2021

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later

A telecoms junction box is raised a few inches above pavement height, with a concrete 45 degree ramp descending from it towards the kerb. The ramp is slippery especially when wet and not easily seen in the dark. On the verge side of the box is a telegraph pole so the pedestrian footpath is narrowed at that point. This is dangerous because it is easy to tread on the ramp and slip into the road, where traffic passes at up to 40mph in close proximity to the pavement. I raised this with an OpenReach engineer who was working in the box and he said that it is a Highways matter.
