Highbridge walk. Top end near Canalside Terrace

Reported via mobile in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 10:51, Sun 26 December 2021

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

You now have two areas of blocked sewers. The faeces is being dissolved by rainwater and spreading along footpaths along with toilet paper. The manhole cover is giving out water, it STINKS. you should immediately close Highbridge Walk to prevent pedestrian’s taking faeces home on the soles of their shoes. THE WATER BOARD? Working before Christmas Day did not put out WARNING BOARDS TO PUBLIC!!!!!There are still no WARNINGS.

  • Thames Water made emergency call to fix the problem. Operant said they did not carry warning signs in their van for warning public. Said they had cleared up and sanitised. There is a job still on order. They were leaving Highbridge blockage FREE FLOWING. I asked if the footpath would still be clear in 48hours time. the man felt he was being threatened and he had been working all over Christmas. This photo shows after clearing up today.
