Denham Lane, Chalfont St Peter o/s 58
Reported via desktop in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 12:26, Thu 30 December 2021
Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later
Water is again pooling at the location. This has been reported many times. The water covers the whole road at its high points and prevents persons from using the footpath. The water in turn is eroding the grass verge around the manhole and damaging the drive way of no. 58. The drain has previously been cleared, but this did not prevent flooding. Photos attached highlight that pedestrians have to walk in the centre of the road to avoid the water. In addition this will only cause issues for school children upon their return after the holidays.

Whilst every effort was made to fix the issue of flooding, it has not worked. Almost the entire road and driveway are now again flooded. The footpath is under about 4" of water, and the only option for school children walking home will be to walk in the road. This will have to be the middle as the opposite side (where there is no footpath) is also flooded.
