Pavement on Tring Hill just below Crows Nest
Reported via desktop in the Footpath / pavement problem category by Cllr Carole Paternoster at 17:08, Monday 3 January 2022
Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later
On 22nd December a lady with a guide dog fell and sustained a serious head injury on this pavement. At the point of her fall the pavement was too narrow for a person to walk safely with a guide dog. On 7th Sep Buckland Parish Council told the LAT that this pavement needed siding out by TfB because it is a walk to school route between Aston Clinton and Tring. Nothing was done. Buckland is not a devolved council. There was debris from a fallen branch strewn across the pavement where the lady fell. The photos show the debris and how narrow the pavement now is due the the fact it has not been sided out. This is next to a road with a 50mph speed limit.
