The end of the double yellow live

Reported via mobile in the Road lines / road markings category anonymously at 12:45, Wednesday 12 January 2022

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

This van has been parking on the double yellow lines since they undertook the refurbishment of the ground floor of this building. (Probably May.) I chose not to report it as I thought that once it was completed that they would stop parking here. However they have continued to do so and it is causing a danger to vehicles and people. I've left a note to request that they stop. I've spoken with a lady at the address. I have resorted to putting their traffic cones which they keep on the brick work which looks to have been created as parking on the double yellow line today as the van was actually not there and I've had enough, as I was nearly hit again last night.

Please can you do something? Thank you very much.

  • Sorry, the title should be LINE not live! I think that the address is no. 5. It's still happening and with another van on the other side of the road tonight (not on a double yellow) I nearly couldn't get through. I doubt that an ambulance could get down here in an emergency. A fire engine certainly couldn't. People are being put at risk because this person is selfish. Yes, it is always the same van.
