Totally inadequate signage

Reported via mobile in the Sign problem category anonymously at 22:31, Wednesday 19 January 2022

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

Junction incredibly dangerous. Parish Council have tried to escalate with yourselves but to date no action from you. Numerous reports of cars not stopping at crossroads coming from Snake Lane/Quainton Road. I personally have witnessed several cars shoot out from the roads without priority and am lucky I was not smashed into (with children in my car). Serious accident last week and been accident black spot for years. Massively more dangerous with HS2 works which disguise junction coming from south along Station Road. HS2 signage cluttering and confusing drivers, and blocking Give Way signs. The road surface is also disgraceful. This has been flagged so many times and it is unacceptable that it has not been fixed. It is one of only 3 roads out of village with consistent traffic so very high risk. It is no exaggeration that there is a significant risk of a fatality of this is not sorted immediately. You would not be able to say you were unaware. Please address. I will forward to MP. Already written to Parish Council. I’ll also raise, again, with HS2.
