I live on Bulstrode Way. I never usually complain about anything like this, but recently this has been such a frequent occurance that I have felt compelled to photograph the mess left at the end of the road.
Our bins are collected weekly, yet even the day after the collection, the end of the cul de sac behind the shops on Packhorse Road is full of black plastic bin bags which are then torn apart by animals leaving littler (including domestic waste - food scraps and nappies etc) strewn across the road. I took the photo of the black bins bags this morning, and the bin collection was two days ago. The other photo of the larger dumped items - mattress etc - was in late December. But this has really become a pattern now and is happening all the time.
This sort of mess has become a regular sight at the end of the road and is really depressing to walk by.
We all have wheelie bins, so why are these bags always there and not in plastic bins?
It really looks dreadful. Is there any way this situation can be improved? The bins are smelly and revolting and the eyesore is really bringing the whole feel of the village centre down.
