Pothole in grassingham rd
Reported in the Potholes category anonymously at 13:48, Sat 16 March 2013
Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later
This large deep pothole has been in existence since the winter of 2010. It is situated at the bottom of Grassingham Road in Chalfont St Peter just before it joins the A413 near the Greyhound Roundabout. It is getting bigger and deeper as time progresses and is extremely dangerous.

The problem I reported a few years ago was for a replacement road sign on a lamp post in Orchard Grove Chalfont St Peter, that was so rusty it was almost unreadable. As far as I know it has not been fixed. The status remains the same for my recent report of the pothole in Grassingham road. It has not been repaired.

Will it ever get fixed? It appeared in the winter of 2010 and is now covering a large area at the bottom of Grassingham Road, which is difficult to avoid when driving up this short steep hill from the A413 near the Chalfont St Peter roundabout.

It is still large, in a very prominent position, causes damage to smaller cars (I've just bought a small 3ltr car and I have to take a longer route home to avoid the hole as it is so big and deep).
When is it going to be fixed? Two and half years is long enough to put up with such a third world situation in a well used road in Bucks.

This pothole at the bottom of Grassingham Road is causing problems. It is impossible to bypass in a car and is so big now and getting deeper. It was first reported in the winter of 2010/2011. Isn't it about time something was done about it?

There is a really deep hole at the bottom of Grassingham Rd where it joins the A413 which is impossible to avoid because of the permanently parked cars on the side of the road. These cars are there all day and owned by people working in shops in Chalfont St Peter because of time restrictions in the Council and privately run car parks in the village. I have to drive up and down Grassingham Rd several times a day and if damage occurs because this hole is not fixed I will be forced to get recompense from the council.
