Traffic lights at junction Bois Lane and Bois Moor Road
Reported via desktop in the Traffic lights & crossings problems with timings category anonymously at 19:22, Mon 14 March 2022
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3388172.
Timing of the lights does not allow for a cyclist to pass through the section before facing oncoming cars, which is very dangerous on the blind corner over the bridge. This has happened to me on three out of four times I've passed that section in the past month. Last time - going uphill - I passed the light as it turned green (i.e. maximum time interval) and already faced an oncoming car by the time I got to the middle of bridge - the timing needs to eb changed before a cyclist gets seriously injured/killed.
