Extremely worn and potholed pavement at both filling station access points
Reported via desktop in the Footpath / pavement problem category by Gerry Robinson at 17:11, Friday 6 May 2022
Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later
For over a year, the pavement across the two entrance/ exit points to the filling station on New Road by the Turnpike runabout has been severely damaged and continues to deteriorate. It would seem like the foundations are breaking up as a result of the repeated heavy traffic which is forced to cross the pavement area. The pavement is heavily pitted, very uneven, and difficult for the less stable pedestrian/ push chair used to walk over/ negotiate. Despite the station changing ownership recently, it's disappointing to see that the new owners have not initiated any remedial work.
Thank you for your report to Buckinghamshire Council, which has been passed to the local area technician to investigate the enquiry/issue regarding the footpath/pavement.
They will carry out an inspection within the next 10 working days and if required arrange to resolve the issue.
