Marked pothole still not fixed
Reported in the Potholes category anonymously at 07:28, Tue 9 July 2013
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 371096.
Despite having been reported months ago, and apparently marked for repair, nothing has been done to repair this pothole. The hole is on the apex of an otherwise blind corner, in the southwest bound lane, on the natural line for a cars tyres. Those that know of the hole tend to take the corner slightly wide, risking placing the car wide on the corner with the inherent danger of placing a vehicle in close proximity to oncoming traffic which will also be taking the tighter, more central line, when travelling northeast bound.
Those unaware of the hole will catch the hole with the inherent risk of damage to their own suspension or risk instability on the corner as the car is disturbed by the hole.
It is worth noting that numerous holes on this section of road from this location towards Pitchcott have been marked for repair but have not been fixed. Unfortunately, since the road was inspected and marked, a number of new holes have formed which also require repair.

Despite this pothole having been marked for repair for weeks, and the fact that similar potholes nearby have been patched (I can't use the word repaired as they haven't really been repaired) this pot hole remains unfolded and getting worse. It is made all the worse by being on a corner on the natural line for your car tyres and with little manoeuvre ro to avoid the hole.
