Road Closure sign
Reported via desktop in the Road lines / road markings category anonymously at 20:33, Mon 8 August 2022
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3739846.
Someone has put up 'Road Closed' signs in Amersham and at Hyde End for some minor works that have been carried out in the position on the map - Weedon Hill, Hyde Heath. This is complete over kill. There is plenty of room for cars and lorries to pass. It only really needs a road narrows sign and some reflective bollards/cones. Fine when the work people are working on the issue but not when it is just being left. The diversion signs are taking cars down very narrow lanes to the A413 which will be more likely to cause an accident than the narrowing of the road on Weedon Hill.
There are so many road works in the area at the moment - a bit of joined up thinking is required here.
