Road drains blocked at bottom of Trees Rd
Reported via desktop in the Blocked drain category by Paul Woodford, HVRA Drainage Improvement Group at 15:50, Thu 22 September 2022
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3841817.
These two road drains are at the foot of Trees Rd about 3 metres above the drainage grids. Trees Rd neighbours periodically clear the grids but are unable to clear the two road drains. We understand the road is unadopted, but hope TfB could clear these drains and the grids on a goodwill basis.

This has been passed to the Local Area Technician to investigate.
We know that an important part of any road network is the drainage system which is designed to carry water away from the road surface. Even when a gully is clean and well maintained it will only cope with a certain volume of water at one time, a sudden and heavy downpour can still cause flooding especially if the road is in a low lying area.
