Excessive amount of potholes and very rough road surface along this stretch of road - caused by HS2 unauthorised access to the site by lorries and machinery - this has led to the erosion of the surface over the last 6 months and is now in a very poor and dangerous condition - needs serious resurfacing and repair

  • This has been passed to the local area technician to investigate the enquiry/issue regarding a pothole/road surface.

    They will carry out an inspection within the next 10 working days and if required arrange to resolve the issue.

    We have now inspected the area and our assessment is that no action is required at this stage.

    The issue you reported will be added to a package of works for this location and will be addressed when we are next in the area.
