Dangerous Blind Driveway and Damaged footpath
Reported via desktop in the Footpath / pavement problem category anonymously at 13:54, Thu 13 October 2022
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3887752.
First reported a year ago and still no action has been taken. Owners have made a driveway on the front garden which has very poor visibility from the road and they have nearly hit cars when reversing out. Where the owners ripped out the hedge to make the driveway they have laid edging stones which are raised and potentially a trip hazard and the pavement is also starting to erode especially near the curb stones which again could result in a member of the public tripping and subsequently suing the council/highways department. Despite reporting this a year ago and also complaining to the council directly no action has yet been taken over this dangerous blind driveway this is an accident waiting to happen and if this does occur I will make sure the person who is the victim knows that the council/highways department has failed to act upon my concerns and is sued.

It is now 4 months since I last reported this problem and the owners contine to use the driveway on a regular basis, this has nearly led to an accident with a pedestrian when the owner reversed out without looking. I suspect the owners may have misinformed the highways department in stating that they do not use the driveway and are looking to distance themselves from the problem as they have put the property on the market ti sell. Please ensure action is taken ASAP as somebody will be seriously hurt soon
