Throughout the day, most particularly in the morning between 7 and 9am and again on Tuesday and Thursday evenings between 4 and 6.30pm. People picking up children from the boxing club on Tuesday and thursday evenings continue to park on the double yellows leading up to the junction of old kiln road and they park on pavements as well. This is dangerous for drivers trying to enter and exit old kiln road and path users. Because there is no parking warden monitoring this the problem is continuing to happen as drivers know they can get away with it. This has been going on since the boxing club has open since the summer at least.
This has been passed to the Parking Services Team.
Subject to available resources, a civil enforcement officer (traffic warden) will go and assess, and if a vehicle is parked in contravention of a parking restriction, a penalty charge notice may be issued.
