A40 Gerrards Cross bound just before Bakers Wood turn

Reported via desktop in the Flooding on a road/footpath category by George Eykyn at 19:31, Thursday 24 November 2022

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later

Road is continually seeping with standing water from poorly maintained drains or culverts - and this is so regardless of whether it is raining. This causes an aquaplaning risk in good conditions and when the weather turns colder and it freezes it will become an ice rink, lethal for any 2-wheeled vehicle. This is a perennial problem that has to be reported and dealt with each year. Road in this area has recently been nicely resurfaced. Please finish the job by sorting out the local drainage so the wroad isn't permanently awash with water. Thanks.
