I am writing to bring to your attention an issue that has been causing inconvenience and danger to pedestrians and drivers alike in Totteridge Road, High Wycombe. There is a Blue Mercedes Sprinter van that has been parked on the kerb/pavement on our street near the junction with Deanwood for over a week, obstructing access for pedestrians and obstructing the view down the road when pulling out of the junction and driveway.
Despite my efforts to identify the owner of the vehicle, I have been unable to do so. This is particularly concerning given that the van has been parked in the same spot without moving for over a week, causing significant inconvenience and safety concerns for those in the area.
The road is a busy thoroughfare, where vehicles often break the speed limit. The obstruction caused by the parked van makes it extremely difficult for pedestrians to walk safely on the pavement and for drivers to have a clear view of the road when pulling out of a junction or driveway. This poses a serious safety risk for everyone in the area.
I would like to request that the council takes immediate action to address this issue. I urge you to investigate and take appropriate measures to ensure that the van owner does not park on the kerb/pavement in the future.
I hope that you will take this matter seriously and take prompt action to rectify the situation. Thank you for your attention to this important matter.
