Part-broken manhole cover, hole 2 feet or more deep
Reported by David Barnard at 22:18, Tue 8 March 2016
Received by Buckinghamshire Council and Chiltern District Council moments later
Alongside road on verge, where children and horses may put foot in the hole and break a leg. Immediately outside Home Farm Cottage garage, opposite Old Manor House.
Nothing done by 2016/03/22. Told today by Thames Water that it is not their manhole, so I guess it is a BT problem. Dangerous!

No action until I rang BT (guessing it was theirs) a week ago. A day or so later someone came and erected a warning triangle structure round it. Nothing since.

Council had no effect. Guessing it was BT I phoned them & they agreed. Within a few days they came & erected a warning screen round the hole (about 2 weeks ago). It is still there, safer but not a solution!

Good warning sign erected, but why does not BT come and repair the cover?
