Updates

  • Nothing done by 2016/03/22. Told today by Thames Water that it is not their manhole, so I guess it is a BT problem. Dangerous!

  • Still open, via questionnaire, 19:05, Wed 6 April 2016

  • No action until I rang BT (guessing it was theirs) a week ago. A day or so later someone came and erected a warning triangle structure round it. Nothing since.

  • Council had no effect. Guessing it was BT I phoned them & they agreed. Within a few days they came & erected a warning screen round the hole (about 2 weeks ago). It is still there, safer but not a solution!

  • Good warning sign erected, but why does not BT come and repair the cover?
