Kerbside weeds on the Manor Farm Estate.

Reported anonymously at 13:44, Sun 12 June 2016

Received by Buckinghamshire Council and Wycombe District Council moments later

All the kerbs on the Manor Farm Estate are full of weeds which are growing rapidly. The situation has not been addressed for at least three years and the estate is now looking very unsightly. Using a road sweeper is not going to address the issue.

  • At 0946 on 8/7 report states that problem does not meet criteria to be fixed and will be monitored for deterioration. Weeds are now at their peak and seed heads forming. Of course the situation will deteriorate as growing season finished - but the seeds will be there for next year. Completely spoils the look of the whole neighbourhood - what do we spend our Council Tax on?

  • The council does not think it merits any attention. I wonder what proportion of our Council Tax is allotted to roadway maintenance and whether we have to life in this unsightly environment every year.
