Potholes, obscured sign, overgrown hedge

Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 09:04, Mon 5 September 2016

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

Overgrown hedge at High Street end of Orchard Lane which restricts driving width of Lane. Hedge now obscuring 'Pedestrians on Road' sign. Numerous potholes along Orchard Lane and protruding hedges which make avoiding potholes in a car very difficult.

  • The potholes have been repaired and the pedestrians on road sign is now visible. However the overgrown hedge has not yet been cut, therefore the road width is substantially restricted, making on-coming vehicles meet head-to-head.

  • The sign has been revealed by hedge cutting around it, however the rest of the hedge remains overgrown into Orchard Lane and causes an obstruction to traffic. The potholes were repaired but a few others have appeared since then.
