Tarmac defect - abrupt change in level

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 923990.
Tarmac defect - abrupt change in level. On the stretch of road coming into Long Crendon about 200m before the Sandy lane, Frogmore lane junction there is a joint in the tarmac that has such an abrupt change in level that it makes a car's suspension bang so hard that drivers are frequently pulling out into the middle of the road to avoid it. Not only is this harmful to vehicle suspension, it is an accident waiting to happen. The problem section is close to the left verge and to avoid buckling a wheel I am having to drive around it myself leading me into the path of oncoming traffic coming out of Long Crendon towards Shabbington. As I live in Shabbington my wife and I use this stretch of road several times a day. It has been like it for a long time but I would urge Bucks cc to take a look and fix it.

Bucks county council replied to me to say they did not intend to fix the defect/not a priority. This seems an unacceptable response since if you drive over it at close to the speed limit you are likely to damage your wheels or wheel bearings, and I regularly witness cars swerving into the opposite side of the road to avoid it. Accident waiting to happen.
