Fence collapsed by footpath.
Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 17:30, Fri 16 December 2016
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 943497.
Due to the fence falling there is an exposed drop at the side of the footpath/road on the north approach to the bridge. Anyone stepping back to avoid traffic, especially in the dark, faces a nasty fall...4 to 6ft.

It seems that nobody will accept responsibility for this problem. One day someone on this pathway will step back to avoid oncoming traffic and fall back into the drop at the pathside, possibly causing serious injury....or worse .

Still not fixed. Canal Trust have confirmed that the fence falls under BCC Highways responsibility. You need 3 or 4 short planks and possibly 2 longer ones to replace the handrail and make the path up to the bridge safe. Please provide a date for the works which have now been outstanding since 2016 before someone is hurt. Thank you
