The man hole cover is still damaged but has now had barriers put up around it which is more difficult for residences wishing to park their vehicles but safer for pedestrians.

  • This was initially reported to Aylesbury Vale District Council who stated it is the residents reponsibility. Since then, BT, and UK Power Networks have visited who believed it was a drain maintained by Thames Water. Thames Water contacted, who have visited today and it has finally been confirmed by them that it is a highways drainage cover that must be maintained by AVDC all along!! So still ongoing for at least 9 months now.....

  • Spoken to AVDC highways who have looked it up on their system as one of their highway drainage manholes. They visit within 10 days and repair within 28. Track progress at web below, reference no 46038214 http://transportforbucks.net/ track-it.aspx
